DOR0THEA JANE BUCKINGHAM

Dorothy was born 16 February 1927 in Miami County, Ohio.  She died 22 July 2000 in Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio.

Dorothy married Glenn Lloyd Shappie on the 6 August 1949 in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Newport, Shelby County, Ohio.  Glenn was the son of of Sebastain Shappie and Blanche Leonard.  He was born 6 June 1929 in Shelby County, Ohio and died 27 April 2000 in Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.

 Dorothy and Glenn had the following children:

4.  Gary Joseph Shappie was born 10 November 1954 in Piqua, Miami County, Ohio.  He died October 1973 Piqua Memorial Hospital, Piqua, Miami County, Ohio and was buried in St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Newport, Shelby County, Ohio.

Gary passed away at the age of 17 years old.  He was involved in a one car accident on Miller Road, north of Russia, Ohio.  He was a senior at Russia High School, Russia, Ohio.  He was a member of the Russia High School Basketball and Track Teams.  Gary was a partime worker at Clopay Corporation in Russia, Ohio and a member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and its C.Y.O. in Newport, Ohio.

5.  Scott Lee Shappie was born 5 November 1961 and died 20 September 2006.
