Mildred Maxine Buckingham "Maxine" was born 27 February 1925 in Miami County, Ohio.  She died 31 October 2003 in Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Darke County, Ohio.

Maxine married Lawrence Richard Slade, son of Alfred Slade and Alda Burkett, on 21 July 1945 in Darke County, Ohio.  Lawrence was born 26 July 1926 in Darke County, Ohio.  He died 22 May 1979 in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio.

Maxine and Lawrence had the following children:

3.  Roger Keith Slade

4.  Jerry Slade

5.  Rickey Slade

The photo is of  Maxine and Lawrence Slade's two older children Fred and Carolyn.

3.  Roger Keith Slade was born 30 May 1949 in Darke County, Ohio and died in Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Darke County, Ohio.  Roger was a graduate of Greenville HIgh School in Greenville, Ohio.  He was also a United States Veteran of the Vietnam War.
