BERTHA EMMA TROST

Bertha Emma Trost (Maria Sophia Friederike Buchholz, (Martin) Johann Wilhelm Buchholz, Martin Jochim Heinrich Buchholtz, Franz Christian Buchholtz) was born 10 April 1888 in Newton Township,  Miami County, Ohio and was christened 8 July 1888 in St. John's Lutheran Church, Covington, Ohio by Paster E. W. D. Winterhoff.  Bertha died 14 December in Piqua, Miami County, Ohio and was buried 17 December 1949 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Miami County, Ohio.

 

Bertha married Albert W. Schuesselin on 7 April 1912 by Rev. A.M. Kerr of Pleasant Hill.  Albert was born 23 May 1888 in Pleasant Hill, Miami County, Ohio.  His parents were Charles F. and Louise Staehlin Schuesselin.

 

Bertha and Albert had the following the following children:

1.   Charles Richard Schuesselin was born 1913

2.   Norma E. Schuesselin was born 29 June 1914 and died 2 December 2002.

 

Norma married Conrad Clippinger who was a Medical doctor and practiced in Covington, Miami County, Ohio.  Norma was a graduate of Piqua High School in Piqua, Ohio. She continued her education and was a teacher in  the school systems of Piqua and Westerville, Ohio.  Norma was a member of Presbyterian Church, Covington, Ohio and a member of the Eastern Stars.

 

Norma and Conrad had the following children:

1.   Jane Clippinger

2.   Betsy Clippinger

3.   Conrad Clippinger
